About the Social Media Content Calendar

Pick a month, the platforms you post on and how often, your content pillars, your type of business and your city. You get a post for every posting day and platform, rotated through your pillars, with a fill-in idea for each, and Indian festivals and holidays marked, with a post for the ones that matter to your business. Click any post to change it, mark it posted or skip it, then download a CSV, add every post to your calendar app with a reminder, or print the month. It runs in your browser with fixed templates, not AI, and your plan stays in this browser.

Pillars keep a calendar varied

Content pillars are the few themes you return to, such as offers, tips, behind the scenes and reviews. Rotating through them means followers see more than offers, and you always know what the next post is about. The calendar starts each platform one pillar further along, so posts on the same day are not all on the same theme. Each idea is a fill-in template: replace the parts in square brackets with your own details.

Festival dates and where they come from

Festival and holiday dates come from the Government of India lists of holidays for 2026 and 2027, with Drik Panchang for Hindu festivals not on those lists, and official notices for exams, monsoon and tax dates. Some dates change every year, depend on the sighting of the moon or are celebrated only in some states, and each date says so. Pick your city or state to leave out regional festivals celebrated elsewhere.

What this tool cannot do

It does not post or schedule anything, and it never signs in to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube or WhatsApp. It does not tell you the best time of day to post: only your own data can show that. The spread of posts over the week, the kinds of post and the ideas are our suggestions, not platform rules. Festival dates are in our list from October 2026 to December 2027.

Frequently asked questions

How many times a week should I post?

No platform publishes one right number. Choose a number you can keep up every week, and set it for each platform: the calendar spreads the posts evenly over the days you choose, up to two a day on each platform. Our suggestion: post steadily, rather than a lot for two weeks and then nothing.

What are content pillars?

They are the three to six themes your posts come back to, such as offers, tips, behind the scenes, reviews, products and local news. Type one per line. Pillars with words like offer, tip, team, review, product, FAQ, local, poll or news get ideas written for that theme; any other pillar gets general ideas you can fill in.

Which festivals does it include?

Indian festivals, national holidays, gifting days such as Raksha Bandhan, the wedding season, exam and admission periods, monsoon and tax dates, from October 2026 to December 2027. Each one is rated for your type of business, and only those that matter get a post. Regional festivals show only when your city or state is one where they are celebrated.

Are my plan and edits saved?

Yes, in this browser only. Your form and every change you make to a post are saved on this device, so they are back when you return. Nothing is sent to our server. Use Clear to remove them, or download the CSV to keep a copy.

Does it tell me the best time to post?

No. The best hours differ from one account to another, so we do not suggest times. To find when your own followers respond, open your Meta Business Suite export in our Best Time to Post Analyzer. For a full plan around one big festival, use the Festival Campaign Builder.
