Technical SEO that fixes what is holding your site back
Our technical SEO services audit your website the way Google and AI crawlers see it, then fix the issues in your code: speed, indexing, structured data and redirects.
Get a proposalProblems we fix
These are the issues we find most often when a site is not getting the traffic its content deserves.
-
Slow pages on mobile
Heavy images, render-blocking scripts and slow servers that make visitors leave before the page loads.
-
Pages missing from Google
Important pages marked noindex, blocked in robots.txt, or simply never discovered.
-
Broken links and redirect chains
Old URLs that 404 or bounce through several redirects and lose their value.
-
Duplicate content
The same page reachable at several URLs, splitting signals between them.
-
No structured data
Search engines have to guess what your business, services and articles are.
-
Traffic lost after a redesign
Changed URLs without redirects, lost metadata or a staging site that got indexed.
What is included
Everything a search engine needs to find, load and understand your pages.
-
Full crawl and audit
Every URL checked for status codes, duplicate content, thin pages, canonical tags and orphan pages.
-
Speed and Core Web Vitals
Lighthouse and field data reviewed, then images, scripts, fonts and caching fixed to improve LCP, INP and CLS.
-
Indexing and sitemaps
Clean XML sitemaps, a correct robots.txt and Search Console coverage issues resolved.
-
Structured data
Organization, Service, Article, FAQ and breadcrumb schema written and validated.
-
Redirects and broken links
Redirect chains, loops and 404 errors fixed so link value and visitors are not lost.
-
Mobile and accessibility
Layouts, tap targets and markup checked on real phone sizes, because Google indexes the mobile version.
Faster pages, measured the way Google measures them
Core Web Vitals are Google's measurements of real-world loading, responsiveness and visual stability. We read your field data from real visitors and lab data from Lighthouse, then fix the causes: oversized images, unused JavaScript, render-blocking fonts and slow server responses.
Every change is measured again, so you see the before-and-after numbers instead of a promise.
- Images converted to WebP and served at the right size
- Unused CSS and JavaScript removed or deferred
- Caching and compression set up on your server
- Layout shifts from images, ads and fonts fixed
From audit to fixed in four steps
A short look at how a technical audit turns into fixes you can measure.
What is technical SEO?
Technical SEO is the work that lets search engines crawl, render, index and understand a website. It covers site speed, mobile usability, URL structure, redirects, sitemaps, robots rules and structured data. Content and links only help once these foundations work.
Who is it for?
- Websites that recently moved platform or domain and lost traffic
- Sites with many pages that are not indexed in Google Search Console
- Businesses whose pages load slowly on mobile
- Teams that want a developer-ready list of fixes, or the fixes done for them
What you receive
A prioritised audit report in plain language, the fixes made in your code or CMS where we have access, and a before-and-after comparison of speed and indexing so you can see the result of each change.
Technical SEO checklist
These are the areas every audit covers, whatever platform your site runs on:
- Crawlability: robots.txt, internal links, crawl depth and server errors
- Indexing: XML sitemaps, canonical tags, noindex rules and Search Console coverage
- Performance: Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS), image formats, caching and compression
- Mobile: responsive layouts, tap targets and font sizes
- Security: HTTPS everywhere and no mixed content
- Structure: clean URLs, redirects, breadcrumbs and pagination
- Structured data: valid JSON-LD for your business and content
What to expect and when
Technical fixes often show sooner than content or link work, because they remove problems that were holding existing pages back. Search engines need to recrawl your pages before changes are reflected, which can take from a few days to several weeks depending on the size of the site. We track indexing and rankings throughout, so you can see the effect of each change.
How it works
-
1
Crawl and measure
We crawl the site, run Lighthouse on key templates and review Search Console data.
-
2
Prioritise
You get a short list ordered by impact and effort, not a 200-page export.
-
3
Fix
We make the changes in your code or CMS, or hand your developers exact instructions.
-
4
Verify
Every fix is re-measured and the before-and-after numbers go in your report.
Structured data that describes your business
Structured data is code that tells search engines and AI systems exactly what a page is about: your organisation, the services you offer, your articles and your FAQs. It connects these entities so machines understand who you are and what you do.
We write the JSON-LD, connect the pieces into one graph and validate it with Google's tools.
- Organization and LocalBusiness with your real details
- Service, Article and FAQ markup on the right pages
- Breadcrumbs that match your site structure
- Validated in Google's Rich Results Test

Frequently asked questions
How long does a technical SEO audit take?
Most audits take one to two weeks, depending on the size of the site and the access we have to analytics and Search Console.
Do you fix the issues or only report them?
Both. With access to your code, CMS or hosting we make the fixes ourselves. If your developers prefer to do it, we give them exact, prioritised instructions.
Will technical SEO improve my rankings?
It removes the problems that stop pages from ranking, such as slow loading, blocked or unindexed pages and broken redirects. Rankings also depend on content and links, so we cannot promise positions, but technical issues are often the fastest wins.
Which platforms do you work with?
Laravel, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and custom websites. If your site runs on something else, ask us and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
What access do you need?
Google Search Console and Analytics viewer access for the audit. For fixes, access to your CMS, code repository or hosting, whichever applies.
What are Core Web Vitals?
Core Web Vitals are Google's measurements of real-user experience: Largest Contentful Paint (loading), Interaction to Next Paint (responsiveness) and Cumulative Layout Shift (visual stability).
Is a technical SEO audit a one-time job?
The audit is a one-off, but sites change constantly. New pages, plugins and design updates can introduce problems, so we recommend a monthly health check after the initial fixes.
Can you help after a website migration?
Yes. We map old URLs to new ones, set up redirects, check that metadata and structured data carried over, and monitor indexing closely in the weeks after launch.
