Read what the guide says

Choose your business type, city and the festival. We fill in suggested offer dates,

which you can change.

Or press Try an example to fill in sample details.

Add your offer, its price and cost, your WhatsApp number and, if you run ads,

the budget.

Work through the tabs: copy the messages and posts, tick the checklist,

About the Festival Campaign Builder

Pick your business type, city and an upcoming festival from our India calendar, then add your offer, price, WhatsApp number and, if you run ads, a budget. You get a campaign kit: a countdown with dates to prepare, announce, remind and run, the profit per sale and the extra sales the offer needs, three WhatsApp messages with a chat link and QR code, a Google Business Profile offer post, an Instagram and Facebook caption, Short and Status ideas, a day-by-day ads budget with 18% GST and a checklist. Messages come in English, Hinglish or Hindi. It runs in your browser.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Choose your business type, city and the festival. We fill in suggested offer dates, which you can change.

  2. Step 2

Add your offer, its price and cost, your WhatsApp number and, if you run ads, the budget.

  3. Step 3

Work through the tabs: copy the messages and posts, tick the checklist, and download the plan or add the dates to your calendar.

Where the dates come from

Festival dates come from the same checked list as our India Seasonal Content Calendar: the Government of India holiday lists for 2026 and 2027, and Drik Panchang for Hindu festivals not on them. You only see occasions celebrated in your state, with the big ones for your business first. Lunar festival dates can differ by a day between calendars, and Eid dates depend on the moon.

What is Google's rule and what is our suggestion

Google's rules come from its help pages: an offer post needs a title and dates, a post with a phone number in its text might be rejected, and 18% GST is added to Google Ads charges in India. The lead times, the offer dates we fill in, the split of the ads budget and the wording of the messages are our suggestions, so change them to suit your business.

What this tool cannot do

It does not send messages, post to Google or Instagram, or run ads: you copy each piece and post it yourself. It cannot tell how many people will buy, so the extra sales an offer needs are maths, not a forecast. The Hinglish and Hindi messages are templates, so read them before you send. Checklist ticks are saved only in this browser.

Frequently asked questions

When should I start promoting a Diwali offer?

We suggest planning about six weeks before Diwali, announcing the offer about two weeks before, sending a reminder two days before the festival and a last-day message on the final day. These lead times are our suggestion. For ads, Google suggests adjusting budgets and targets 4 to 6 weeks before a peak season.

How do I add an offer to my Google Business Profile?

In your Business Profile, choose Posts, then Add post, then Offer. Google asks for a title and start and end dates, and adds a "View offer" button. You can also add a description, photo, video, coupon code, link, and terms and conditions. Keep your phone number out of the text: Google says such posts might be rejected.

How much more must I sell to make a festival discount worth it?

It depends on your margin. If a product costs you ₹60 and sells for ₹100, a 15% discount cuts the profit on each sale from ₹40 to ₹25, so you need 60% more sales to earn the same. Enter your own price and cost to see your figure and the sales needed to pay for any ads.

Can I send festival offers to customers on WhatsApp?

Send them to customers who have shared their number with you and expect to hear from you, and stop if someone asks you to (our suggestion). The tool writes three messages with a wa.me chat link and a QR code, so customers can reply in one tap, and "Open in WhatsApp" lets you pick the chat to send each one to.

Do I need to add GST to my Google Ads budget?

Plan for it. Google adds 18% GST to Google Ads charges for advertisers in India. If your business is registered for GST, you may be able to claim it as input tax credit, so check with your accountant. The ads plan shows each phase of the offer before and after GST.
