How to use the Customer Question Clusterer

Read what the guide says

This is the Customer Question Clusterer.

Group customer questions into topics and see which need a page and which an FAQ.

Collect the questions: export the queries table from the Search Console Performance report,

copy People Also Ask questions, or export a WhatsApp chat without media.

Or press Try an example to fill in sample details.

Paste them or upload the file. For a WhatsApp chat,

add your own name as it appears in the chat, so your replies are skipped.

Start with the clusters at the top,

which were asked most. Copy the outline for each page,

add the small clusters as FAQs on existing pages,

and answer business questions on your contact page.

It runs in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded.

Try it free on this page.

Paste questions from Search Console, People Also Ask, emails or sales calls, in English, Hinglish or Hindi. You can also paste a WhatsApp chat export or a CSV with the questions in one column.

Runs in your browser. Your questions and chats are not uploaded.

Where to find the questions

  • Search Console: in the Performance report, add a Query filter with Custom (regex), for example ^(what|how|why|which|can|is|does), then export the table as CSV.
  • People Also Ask: search your main services on Google and copy the questions in the "People also ask" box.
  • WhatsApp: open a busy chat, choose Export chat and pick Without media, then upload the .txt file.

Options (optional)

Your replies are skipped, so only customers' questions count. Separate several names with commas.

Raise it for long lists, such as a full Search Console export.

Your clusters appear here

Paste questions and select Group questions, upload a file, or try the example: 67 questions asked to a made-up dental clinic in Kothrud, Pune.

About the Customer Question Clusterer

Your customers already tell you what to write about: in Search Console queries, People Also Ask boxes and the questions they send on WhatsApp. Paste them, or upload a WhatsApp chat or a Search Console export, and we merge repeats, including the same question asked in Hinglish and in English, group the questions into topics and sort each topic by question type: cost, process, pain and safety, recovery, comparisons and more. Each cluster gets a suggestion, from a service page or a guide to a few FAQs, with a working title and an outline to copy. It runs in your browser, so your chats stay on your computer.

How it works

  1. Step 1

Collect the questions: export the queries table from the Search Console Performance report, copy People Also Ask questions, or export a WhatsApp chat without media. Notes from sales calls work too, one question per line.

  2. Step 2

Paste them or upload the file. For a WhatsApp chat, add your own name as it appears in the chat, so your replies are skipped.

  3. Step 3

Start with the clusters at the top, which were asked most. Copy the outline for each page, add the small clusters as FAQs on existing pages, and answer business questions on your contact page.

How the grouping works

Each question is reduced to its topic words, the way our Keyword Theme Grouper finds the main word in a keyword: question words, fillers in English and Hinglish, places and words such as cost or pain are set aside. A question then joins the topic word in it that heads the most questions, so "can I whiten my teeth at home" sits with teeth whitening. Repeats and close variants, such as "root canal ka kharcha kitna hai" and "how much does a root canal cost", are merged and counted.

From clusters to pages

A cluster with four or more questions, or three or more question types, can carry a page of its own. When people ask about cost, payment, booking or choosing a provider, they are close to a decision, so we suggest a service page with an FAQ section; otherwise a guide, and for a large cluster both. Smaller clusters become FAQs on an existing page, and questions about timings, location, payment and booking belong on your contact page.

What this tool cannot do

It groups questions by the words people use, not by meaning, so it will not know that "RCT" and "root canal" are the same treatment, and it can misread Hinglish spellings it has not seen. It cannot see search volume: it counts how often a question appears in what you paste, or uses the impressions in a Search Console export. Check the clusters, move any question that sits in the wrong one, and decide on the pages yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find the questions people search for in Search Console?

Open the Performance report for Search results, add a Query filter and choose Custom (regex). The filter uses RE2 syntax, so a pattern such as ^(what|how|why|which|can|is|does) keeps the queries that start with a question word. Then export the table as CSV and upload it here. Google limits exports from the report to 1,000 rows, so narrow the dates or filter by page if you have more.

How do I export a WhatsApp chat for this tool?

In WhatsApp, open the chat or group, choose Export chat from the menu and pick Without media. You get a text file; if your phone saves it as a zip, unzip it and upload the .txt inside. Export each busy chat separately. The file is read in your browser and never sent to our server, and we hide phone numbers, emails and links in the questions we show.

Why group customer questions into topics?

One page can answer many related questions, and the questions on one topic show what that page needs to cover. Ten questions about root canal cost, pain, sittings and recovery belong on one page with a section for each, not on ten thin pages. Grouping also shows which topics come up most often, so you know which page to write or improve first.

Should each question get its own page or go in an FAQ?

Give a topic its own page when people ask several different things about it, such as cost, process and recovery, so the page can answer them in order. Put one-off questions in an FAQ on the closest page, answered in the first sentence. Google now shows FAQ rich results only for well-known, authoritative government and health websites, so write FAQs for your readers, not for a search feature.

How is this different from the AI Prompt Intent Classifier?

The AI Prompt Intent Classifier scores up to 50 questions one by one: their intent, business value and the kind of page that wins each. This tool works on hundreds of questions at once, including WhatsApp chats and Search Console exports. It merges repeats, groups the questions into topics and turns each topic into a page or FAQ plan. Run the classifier afterwards on the questions in your biggest cluster.
