How codes are made

Random characters A pattern

Prefix (optional)

The same at the start of every code. Letters, numbers, - and _ only. Add a hyphen at the end if you want one.

How many random characters

3 to 20. Our suggestion: at least 6, so codes are hard to guess.

Pattern

X is a random character and # a random number; the rest stays as typed. To keep a letter X as it is, put that part in the prefix.

Split the random part into groups of 4 with a hyphen For example DIWALI-7KQM-9PXR. Easier to read out and type.
